Shamboks is a rugby team for the over 35's and is multi-cultural consisting mainly of ex-South Africans and Zimbabweans however has a number of Australians, New Zealanders and English players too.
The team first got together in 1989 when the Golden Oldies tournament came to Perth.
Shamboks have since played at every Golden Oldies Rugby Festival, taken part in the recent World Vintage Rugby Carnival that was hosted in Perth and participate in the local league.
We play every second Sunday around Perth and the rules are simple, Have Fun!
What's different about the Shamboks is that they are the only other club who have permission from the South African Rugby Union to use the Springbok as the team logo and have incorporated it into a map of Australia.
